During the renovation we have tried to
preserve original details of our barge as much as possible. I also developed a new “hobby”:
Reusing old materials, for example to make new furniture! A couple of examples:
The old wooden gangplank now serves as a side table, a cable reel disk and an
old drawing board leg as our dining table, three old work sticks with a bunch
of lamps in the middle as our ceiling light, a piece of barge’s side as a room
divider in the middle of our living room and the good old gangway as our
bookshelf.
In fact, our interior is a mixture of old materials
that got a new, second life! It has become a nicely matching whole that attracts a lot of people/media.

very proud of the result and like to show it by means of these pictures.
